MOSCOW(Sputnik) – The United States showed inability or possibly unwillingness to fulfil multiple promises to separate terrorists from opposition in Syria, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.
"However, despite all Russian-US agreements on this issue, Washington demonstrated inability or possibly unwillingness to fulfil multiple promises it made to us. Unlike Moscow, the US side is not meeting its obligations," Patrushev told reporters.
According to the official, US-backed moderate opposition forces did not withdraw from the Castello road near Aleppo the way the Syrian government had done, and were blocking humanitarian aid convoys.
