    US Opposes Turkish Actions Against Syrian Democratic Forces - White House

    Washington opposes Turkish efforts to move south of Jarabulus in Syria and engage in activities against the Syrian Democratic Forces, according to US National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications Ben Rhodes.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States is opposed to Turkish military action against the Syrian Democratic Forces in Syria, US National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications Ben Rhodes said in a press briefing on Monday.

    "We do not support, and we would oppose [Turkish] efforts to move south [of Jarabulus] and engage in activities against the Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF opposition that we have supported," Rhodes told reporters.
