VIENNA (Sputnik) – Saudi Arabia expects the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to continue working closely with non-member countries to stabilize the market, the Saudi energy minister said Thursday.
"This is very important. The OPEC accounts for only a third of the global [crude oil] production. The latest talks between the OPEC and other oil producers were very constructive. I expect more consultations," Khalid al-Falih told reporters ahead of the OPEC ministers’ meeting in Vienna.
