MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The first ever meeting of defense ministers from the Association of South-East Asian Nations will be held in Moscow on April 26, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said Monday.
“I’m very happy to announce today that on the eve of our conference, that is there will be the first meeting in history on April 26 between the militaries of Russia and ASEAN countries on the level of ministers,” Antonov told Russia’s Rossiya-24 television.
ASEAN includes Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.
