New Normandy Four Meeting Tied to Ukrainian Settlement Progress
MOSCOW (Sputnik) The United States is not trying to replace the so-called Normandy format (Ukraine, Russia, Germany, France) for Ukraine peace talks, US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft said Thursday.

"We are very focused on trying to help the Normandy group, we are not trying to displace them. Victoria Nuland's efforts with [Russian presidential aide Vladislav] Surkov in Kaliningrad were designed to support the lead and the efforts that were being made and are being made," Tefft told Russian news agencies.
