BALLU, a robot created by UCLA's Robotics & Mechanisms Laboratory (RoMeLa), can move like people: it walks, jumps, dances and even rides its skateboard.

BALLU stands for Buoyancy Assisted Lightweight Legged Unit. The robot's body is made of helium balloons as well as a pair of thin legs that would make any model green with envy.
