A volcanic explosion caused by the partial collapse of a crater wall sends molten lava flying into the air.

The collapse of a portion of the Halemaʻumaʻu Crater wall triggered a small explosion that sent lava around the rim of Hawaii's Kilauea volcano. The video captures the collapse of the wall, as the rocks give in, and send smoke and debris 280 feet up into the air.
