    The US Senate has confirmed Christopher Wray as the new FBI director.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Senate has confirmed Christopher Wray as the new director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

    Wray was confirmed by a 92 to 5 vote on Tuesday.

    He replaces former Director James Comey, who Trump fired in May.
