    The US Senate Intelligence Committee has asked the White House for more information on reports that US president shared classified information with the Russian foreign minister.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Senate Intelligence Committee has asked the White House for more information on reports that US President Donald Trump shared classified information with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov last week, media reported on Tuesday.

    A spokesperson for Senator Richard Burr, chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, told ABC News that the panel had requested additional information on the reported exchange.
