President-elect Donald Trump has offered the job of Interior Secretary to Democratic US Congressman Ryan Zinke from Montana, US media reports.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — According to Politico, Zinke has been offered the job, but has not yet accepted.

Zinke is a former member of Navy’s special operation unit Seals, and his wife is part of the Trump‘s transition team working on veterans issues.

He has been supporting the Trump campaign since May of 2016 despite criticism from Democrats for it.
