Trump Vows to Repeal Obamacare, Reduce Healthcare Prices
WASHINGTON Sputnik) — Ninety-four senators voted in favor of the legislation, which includes almost $2 billion in funding for outgoing Vice President Joe Biden's "Moonshot" initiative to fight cancer.

Outgoing President Barack Obama said in a statement the bill would help to provide important investments for life-saving innovations.

"We are now one step closer to ending cancer as we know it, unlocking cures for diseases like Alzheimer’s, and helping people seeking treatment for opioid addiction finally get the help they need," Obama stated.

The US House of Representatives passed the 21st Century Cures Act in November.

The bill will now go to Obama for signature and he could approve it as early as Thursday.
