WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Columbus Dispatch reported the two suspects hit a building with a car, and when they got out, one carried a knife and the other a gun.
OSU campus police lifted the previous shelter in place order and the campus is currently secured.
UPDATE 1/2: Shelter in Place lifted. Scene is now secure. ALL classes are canceled on Columbus campus for the remainder of the day.

Local media reports indicated at least two people were taken out of a garage at the university in handcuffs and one suspect was shot and killed.

NBC4 News reported eight people are treated at a hospital; one person is in critical condition, while the others are in stable condition.
Classes at OSU have been canceled for the rest of the day due to the attack.
