WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Congressman Mike Pompeo will be an honest and dedicated director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), US House Speaker Paul Ryan said on Friday, commenting on Pompeo's nomination to serve in President-elect Donald Trump's administration.
Earlier on Friday, President-elect Donald Trump nominated Pompeo to serve as next CIA director. The Kansas congressman's nomination still needs to be confirmed by the US Senate.
