WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – US Vice President Joe Biden voted in Wilmington, Delaware in the early morning on Tuesday, according to a pool report released by the White House.
"Vice President Joe Biden voted at Alexis I. du Pont High School in Wilmington early Tuesday," the report said on Tuesday.
After spending less than a minute casting his ballot, Biden commented "it's a beautiful day to vote," the report noted.
He also opined, "It could be a very long night of it could be very short," and told a reporter to keep an eye on the US state of Florida.
The vice president also jokingly said the "bad news" is he is not going away and would continue to fight against income inequality.
Biden was accompanied by his wife Jill, the report added.
