WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will win the crucial battle ground state of Florida on US election day, Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said on Wednesday.
"The path would be much harder without Florida and that's why you're going to see him — but we're going to win Florida,” Conway told CBS This Morning. “It's not even part of the calculation.”
Trump’s rival, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, has hosted multiple rallies to encourage Floridians to vote early.
In recent polls, Clinton was holding four to five point lead over Trump in Florida among likely voters.
Conway denied that the Trump campaign is losing the ground game in the state.
On Tuesday, Trump said he was “tremendously confident” he would win the election in Florida on November 8.
