All US payments worth billions of dollars to support UN programs to fight climate change will be cancelled and instead used for environmental and infrastructure projects in the US if he elected, Donald Trump vowed in a campaign rally on Monday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump noted he would take the actions on climate change on his every first day in the White House after taking the Oath of Office in January 2017.

"[I will] cancel business in payments to UN climate change programs and use the money to fix America's water and infrastructure program," Republican presidential nominee Trump told a rally in St. Augustine, Florida.

Trump also he would act immediately to fulfill his agenda of expanding domestic energy production as fast as possible.

"I will lift restrictions on the production of shale oil natural gas and clean oil… We will develop clean coal … [and will] approve vital energy infrastructure projects like the Keystone Pipeline."
