FBI Confirms Traffic Stop in Relation to New York Bombing, Says Nobody Charged
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) A call for help from the US public has been issued to locate two unidentified individuals suspected of being related to the bombing in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood over the weekend, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a news release on Wednesday.

"FBI is asking for the public's assistance in locating… two unknown individuals," the release stated. "Closed circuit television recordings indicate that [they] allegedly… removed an improvised explosive device from the luggage, and then left the vicinity leaving the device behind but taking the luggage."

On Monday, police arrested 28-year-old suspected bomber Ahmad Rahami in connection with three expositions that occurred in the US states of New York and New Jersey earlier that day and over the weekend.

Prosecutors charged Rahami on Tuesday on four counts, including for using weapons of mass destruction and bombing a place of public use.

The blast in New York left 29 people injured, but no injuries were reported in the bombings in New Jersey.
