WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — When asked if the American people should be prepared for a "very long war" under a Trump administration, he said "it’s going to be very quick."
"We have to get rid of the Islamic State [Daesh], it's gonna be up to the generals, we have to get rid of them but the general are going to be able to play their own game, I want to find out I have the right general," Trump said when asked about his previous comments about potentially sending some 30,000 ground troops to the Middle East to fight terror group.
The real estate mogul also noted that the United States was "very powerful," but not fully using the power that is has.
