Bernie Sanders was asked to criticize Clinton, but he preferred to discuss his real political agenda rather than play the game of attacking his fellow opponents.
“What I said is that corporate media talks about all kinds of issues except the most important issues. And time after time, I’m being asked to criticize Hillary Clinton. That’s the sport that you guys like,” Sanders said during his interview.
While being a member of US Congress, Sanders has struggled for working families, focusing on issues like the shrinking middle class and the growing division between the rich and poor.
“We have an agenda that I believe can bring working people together. And when we do that we gonna win this election very easily I think,” Sanders said.
“I wish that frankly all of the candidates running for presidency this year were more like this. And this is not an endorsement of Bernie Sanders as a candidate. This is an endorsement of him as a grown-up,” Brad Friedman from radio Sputnik's BradCast said while discussing the presidential pre-election campaign in the United States.
Friedman stressed that Bernie Sanders has a good governing philosophy and that other candidates should follow his example, giving their ideas to the American people, rather than attacking their opponents in order to show off.
