A group of US Congressmen wants to restore across-the-board dialogue with Russia, the Federation Council (the upper house of the Russian parliament) said on its website on Wednesday.

“The US Congressmen informed the head of the Federation Council’s international affairs committee, Konstantin Kosachev, about their plans to restore the so-called “Russian Caucus” of House of Representatives members advocating an active dialogue with Russia,” the statement read.

The sides also discussed the prospects of enhancing parliamentary ties between the two countries and criticized the practice of drawing up of all sorts of “black lists”.
