The incident occurred along Ventura Boulevard near Vantage Avenue in Studio City, which is an LA neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley. It comes after the Thursday shooting at The Grand Theatre in Lafayette, Louisiana, where John Houser, a white 59-year-old man, opened fire shooting dead two women and injuring several other people before killing himself.
