WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Convicted Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been moved to the United States’ most secure prison where he will be confined to a small concrete room for 23 hours per day with little contact with the outside world, the Boston Globe reported.
“He [Tsarnaev] was moved Friday to the administrative security prison at Florence, known as the Supermax, where inmates are kept in single cells for 23 hours a day, with little interaction with the public,” the Boston Globe reported.
Tsarnaev will remain in the seven-by-12-foot cell as he appeals the death sentence for his role in the Boston Marathon bombing.The Supermax prison in Florence in the US state of Colorado holds some of the United States’ most dangerous criminals.
On May 15, 2015, a Boston jury found Tsarnaev guilty of all 30 charges for his role in the April 2013 Boston Marathon bombing that left three people dead and more than 260 injured.
