Police detain a journalist working for the RT-run video agency amid protests in Ferguson. On Monday, another RT producer was hit by a police tear gas canister.

MOSCOW, November 26 (Sputnik) - A field producer working for the RT-owned video news agency Ruptly has been detained in the riot-struck St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, the agency said Wednesday.

"Our #Ruptly field producer @denice_ruptly [Denise Reese] has been been detained by security forces whilst filming in #Ferguson," Ruptly posted on its official Twitter account.

"Literally 2 minutes after my latest post I got arrested in #Ferguson - still in the police van," Reese said on her own Twitter page.
