    Russia's Daniil Lysenko won silver at the 2017 World Athletics Championships in London.

    LONDON (Sputnik) — Russian high jumper Daniil Lysenko won silver on Sunday at the 2017 World Athletics Championships in London.

    Lysenko's best attempt in the finals marked 2.32 meters.

    This medal has become the sixth one for Russians, who participate at the 2017 World Athletics Championships as neutral athletes.

    On Saturday, Russian high jumper Maria Lasitskene won gold with the result of 2.03 meters.
