    Russia won bronze at the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, beating Sweden with a score of 2 to 1.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The bronze medal game took place on Thursday in Montreal. Russia scored the winning goal at 33 seconds of overtime.

    On Wednesday, Russia lost to the US team in the semifinal game. The United States will compete against Canada in the final game in Montreal later on Thursday.

    Canada won the Wednesday semifinal game against Sweden with a score of 5 to 2.
