The British men’s team took gold in track cycling pursuit at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – The British men’s team took gold in track cycling pursuit, setting a world record.

Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish, Ed Clancy, Owain Doull and Steve Burke finished in 3 minutes and 50.26 seconds. This beats the previous world record that the British set earlier on Friday in Round 1 (3 minutes and 50.57 seconds).
