RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – Grigoryan’s score of 187.3 edged out fellow Russian national Sergey Kamenskiy. Kamenskiy set an Olympic record in the qualifying stages earlier in the day with 629.0 points, 0.1 ahead of Grigoryan, but placed fourth in the finals.
Germany’s Henri Junghaenel won gold with 209.5, followed by South Korea’s Kim Jonghyun with 208.2 points.
