MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian football team on Monday lost to the Wales team in the match of the third round of the championship's group stage with a score of 0:3 and hence was kicked out of the tournament. Previously, Russia drew with England and lost to Slovakia.

"The president did not watch the game yesterday, as during the match he was attending Lenfilm [film studio]," Peskov told reporters, when asked whether Putin watched the game.
