MOSCOW, May 13 (RIA Novosti) - Anzhi Makhachkala coach Guus Hiddink has hailed the desire of his players ahead of Sunday's final game of the season, the club website said.

Anzhi scored a 3-1 win over Rubin Kazan earlier this month, securing at minimum a place in next season's Europa League.

Hiddink's side round off the campaign at home to Zenit St. Petersburg, who clinched their second-successive title with three games to spare last month.

"It is a very good signal that in this squad at the end of the season everyone is very positive and wants to play," Hiddink said.

"Many teams at the end of the season are like - I'm on holiday, I'm tired, I'm leaving, I'm injured, but in Anzhi it's not. That gives me a luxury problem of choosing, but it's not the biggest problem."

European qualification means the season can be counted a success, Hiddink added.

Hiddink, 65, joined Anzhi in February on a six-month contract with an optional one-year extension, and is expected to make a decision on whether to exercise that in the coming weeks.

After a slow start, Hiddink has won three of his last four matches with Anzhi.
