What would you do with 400,000 bucks if you were a kid? One 12-year-old boy from Abu Dhabi decided to spend this massive sum of money to buy a cool license plate at an auction organized by local police.

Khalifa Al Mazrouei, a Grade 5 student from Zayed Academy aged 12, purchased the "1111" vehicle registration plate, spending a whopping half million dirhams (400,000 dollars) for it, The National newspaper reports. The expensive item was on sale during an auction held at the Emirates Palace hotel by the Abu Dhabi Police Force.

One third of the sum Khalifa earned himself, having won the Quran reciting contest, and the rest of the money he received from his father. Most likely, the boy will place the obtained luxurious number plate on the family's G-class Mercedes, on which his personal driver usually takes him to school.

The auction, held to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Abu Dhabi Police Force, had reportedly collected more than 55 million dirhams (15 million dollars). The most prominent item sold at this auction was a number "2" plate that was sold for 10 million dirhams (2.7 million dollars).
