    Russia’s Human Rights Council Head Hopes to Meet OSCE Representative on Media Freedom

    The Chairman of the Russian Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights Mikhail Fedotov told RIA Novosti in an interview that he hopes to meet the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic during her upcoming visit to Russia.

    MOSCOW, October 13 (RIA Novosti) - The Chairman of the Russian Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights Mikhail Fedotov told RIA Novosti in an interview that he hopes to meet the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic during her upcoming visit to Russia.

    "I hope that during her visit Mrs. Mijatovic will find the time to meet me. As far as I know, her visit is confined primarily to the annual meeting of the heads of all of journalists' unions in Europe," Fedotov told RIA Novosti.

    Mijatovic is planning to visit Russia in November.

    Moscow will host the meeting of the leaders of journalists' unions of Europe have gathered in Moscow, Russia's Human Rights Council head noted.
