Ahead of the exercise all drivers of the CMD’s Special Forces Command underwent 60-day special driving courses in Kolomna.
"Novosibirsk commandos on Tiger-M light armored vehicles destroyed an imaginary illegal armed unit as part of a tactical drill in Novosibirsk region,” CMD said in a statement Tuesday.
During the war game the Tiger crews were to find and destroy the “enemy” with 7.22mm Pecheneg machineguns, 12.7mm Kord machineguns and the Plamya automatic grenade launcher.
The GAZ-2330 "Tiger" is a Russian high-mobility multipurpose military vehicle, manufactured by GAZ Auto Works in Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas.
