MOSCOW, December 26 (RIA Novosti, Oleg Alentyev) - The Moscow Court of Arbitration has suspended until January 17 the hearings on a suit filed by Samaraneftegaz, a subsidiary of embattled oil giant Yukos, against an order to pay 165 million rubles ($5.73 million) in additional taxes for January 2005.
The hearings will resume as soon as the court receives additional documents and materials, a spokesman said.
The Tax Service ruled earlier that Samaraneftegaz was liable for an additional 8.9 billion rubles in taxes for 2001, 8.7 billion rubles for 2002 and 7 billion rubles for 2003.
