    Pink Floyd's Roger Waters talks Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement (BDS) and the role of music to spur political movements; Will America's political left rise up?

    On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Roger Waters, songwriter, bassist, and co-founder of Pink Floyd, to talk about the ongoing efforts to support Palestinian Liberation, the efficacy of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement against the state of Israel, the tremendous backlash against those who support BDS and the role culture and music play in political, social and economic movements around the world. Music from Palestinian musicians Rasha Nahas and Tamer Nafar from Dam and Jowan Safadi are featured.

    In a special third segment "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Kohmee Parrett, Chairman of the Green Party Chicago South and Anoa Changa, host of "The Way with Anoa" and lawyer to talk about the efforts to build a political alternative to the left of the Democratic Party, mobilizing voters in oppressed communities, and the relationships of progressives and the Green Party to the Democratic Party.

    Today's talking points touch on Republican Governors using state police forces to patrol highways that go through major cities and the pervasive ways the CIA has worked to corrupt US media and journalist students.
