Assad Says Moscow Does Not Pressure Damascus, Only Gives Advice
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Assad said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 and NTV television channels that the process of economic recovery would proceed faster with support from friendly states.

"This is very beneficial for us — but also profitable for foreign companies, which will participate in it. I will say it in a simple and clear manner: the Syrian people will not accept any company from the countries that held an anti-Syrian position, opposed our country's territorial integrity or supported terrorists," he said.

"Priority in this issue will be given to friendly countries that have directly supported Syria: Russia, China, Iran and others, or those countries that have at least not opposed Syria and took a neutral position based on moral principles," Assad said.
