    UK Prime Minister Theresa May and US President-elect Donald Trump held firstr talks in the telephone conversation, according to media reports.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – UK Prime Minister Theresa May and US President-elect Donald Trump have held their phone conversation since the latter’s election victory, local media reported Thursday.

    Earlier in the day, UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond said that May and Trump would hold talks, according to the Press Association news agency. The conversation has taken place, the media outlet reported citing Downing Street sources.
