Lavrov, Kerry Agree on 'Road Map' to Improve Russia-US Relations
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kerry was on official visit to Russia on July 15-16 and met with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and President Vladimir Putin.

"I was just in Russia where we were talking with Russians about how we can put a cessation [of hostilities] more effectively into place which will enable us to go after ISIL [Daesh], kill ISIL more effectively and get to the political process of a transition of dealing with [Syrian President Bashar] Assad. I believe we have made progress there," Kerry told NBC broadcaster in an interview.

Daesh is a terrorist organization outlawed in Russia and numerous other countries.
