"There has to be mutual respect of interests, of sovereignty, of territorial integrity, and we need to think about future collaboration," Dardari, who previously served as Syrian deputy prime minister, said, commenting on Syrian-Turkish relations.
Dardari also expressed hope that all parties to the Syrian conflict, as well as Turkey, who welcomed the Geneva communique on Syria, should back the implementation of the Russia-US deal on the cessation of hostilities in the war-torn region.
Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with forces loyal to President Bashar Assad fighting against numerous opposition factions and extremist groups.
On Monday, Moscow and Washington announced that a deal to cease hostilities between the Syrian government and armed opposition factions had been reached. The agreement is due to come into force on February 27.
