WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US President Barack Obama will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey on Sunday to discuss the fight against the Islamic State and the crisis in Syria, US National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes said on Thursday.
"The President [Obama] will participate in a bilateral meeting with President Erdogan of Turkey… the two leaders will also be focused on our counter-ISIL efforts and the situation in Syria," Rhodes stated.
