"Yes, it is on now," the press team said.
The meeting takes place ahead of Tuesday's deadline for reaching a comprehensive deal on Tehran's nuclear program.
Earlier, Zarif held a meeting with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz, the spokesman for the Austrian foreign ministry said.
"Shortly after his arrival in Vienna, Iranian FM Zarif met with Austrian FM Sebastian Kurz," Martin Weiss, Spokesman of Austrian Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs wrote on his Twitter account.
Iran and the P5+1 group of international mediators, comprising Russia, the United States, China, France, the United Kingdom and Germany, are working on a comprehensive agreement that would ensure a peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear activities in exchange for the easing of Western sanctions against the country.
The sides elaborated a political framework for the deal in April and are expected to reach a final agreement by June 30.
