In 2014 the number of jihadi and terrorism-related cases increased by 130%, numbering 147 versus 64
in 2013, reported MAP news agency. More than 320 people stood trial in 2014 accused of terrorism.
Authorities believe this drastic increase to the ongoing crisis with ISIL in Syria and Iraq.
