The range of the North Korean missile launched on Wednesday is estimated at 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) by South Korean military, local media reported, citing an informed source.

TOKYO (Sputnik) — Earlier, South Korean media reported North Korea has test fired a ballistic missile from its west coast into the Sea of Japan.

"North Korea launched today a presumably Rodong ballistic missile with a range of 1,000 kilometers," the source said, as quoted by Yonhap agency.
