    According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the country's armed forces recieved a number of new weapons systems in the second quarter of 2016.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) —The upgrades include an Iskander-M brigade, an S-400 missile defense system regiment and over 90 aircraft.

    "Over the last three months, the armed forces have received a brigade set of the tactical operational missile complex Iskander-M, an S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile system regiment," as well as 15 unmanned aerial vehicles, eight radar stations, 58 planes and 34 helicopters, Shoigu said.
