    Russian Northern Fleet's submarines will carry out under-ice patrol missions in hew areas of the Arctic in 2016, Northern Fleet Commander Vice-Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov said on the eve of the fleet's 283rd anniversary on Wednesday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "In 2016, Northern Fleet submarines will continue carrying out combat patrols around the globe, including missions involving under-ice navigation in new areas of the Arctic," Yevmenov said.
