MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The heads and senior officials from several international organizations will take part in the conference, including those from the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), according to the ministry.
"The Russian Defense Ministry is organizing the 5th Conference on International Security on April 27-28. The forum brings together the defense ministers and delegations of military officials from 83 countries, as well as Russian officials and representatives of the expert community and academia," the ministry's press service said.
Fighting against terrorism will be the main subject of the conference, with the agenda also including the developments in the Middle East, Central Asia and Asia-Pacific region.

The Moscow conference on International Security is being held annually since 2012 under the auspices of the Russian Defense Ministry.
