MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia’s newest Admiral Grigorovich frigate destroyed a conditional enemy submarine during naval exercises in the Baltic Sea, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Western Military District’s Baltic Fleet spokesman said Tuesday.

“While developing anti-submarine operations, the ship’s crew held a number of exercises on classifying and following a simulated enemy submarine. After its discovery, the submarine was ‘destroyed’ with a reactive bomb,” Vladimir Matveyev said.
