Saudi Arabia Rejects Iran's Claims of Involvement in Parade Attack - Reports

Previously, Iranian officials blamed Arab separatists, backed by Gulf Arab allies of the US, for the attack on a military parade in the Iranian city of Ahvaz which claimed the lives of 25 people and left 53 wounded.

"Saudi Arabia rejects and condemns the false accusations that Iranian officials have made about Saudi Arabia supporting the events that took place in Iran last Saturday," a foreign ministry official stated, according to the Saudi state news agency on Tuesday.

Tehran Says Attack on Military Parade is Part of Economic War With US - Reports
On September 22, a group of gunmen opened fire during a military parade in the Khuzestan province of Iran, killing 25 people, including one journalist and, reportedly, over a dozen Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps servicemen. Following the incident, the Daesh* terrorist group claimed responsibility for the assault.

However, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif accused "regional terror sponsors and their US masters" of organizing the attack.
