MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A man was injured in Jerusalem as a woman of Arab descent attacked him with a knife on Saturday, an Israeli police spokesman said.
"Heightened police security continues, old city #jerusalem after stabbing attack by Arab female terrorist. Knife seized, Man injured lightly," Israeli Police foreign press spokesman Micky Rosenfeld wrote on Twitter.

According to The Jerusalem Post newspaper, the injured is a 31-year-old man, he received a stab wound in the shoulder.
No other details of the incident were revealed yet.
Israel has recently seen a large number of knife attacks against its troops and civilians in what has been called "knife intifada" by Palestinians.
