A Turkish soldier on Tuesday attacked his fellow servicemen in the western part of the country, killing three people and wounding three others before killing himself, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The attack took place in the country's Manisa province, specifically in the Kula district’s gendarmerie, or armed police, station, the Anadolu news agency reported.

The injured soldiers were transferred to the Salihli State Hospital.

The perpetrator has not yet been identified.
