MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The projects on display at the Navy's headquarters in Tehran included a fire-control system with weapons for missile vessels, two systems simulating serious damages to a boat and one for the training of survival skills at sea, the Tasnim news agency reported.
The Iranian Navy also reportedly showed a water-filled test facility and a Sea Shield radar system.
Iran has been increasing its naval presence in the recent years to secure naval routes and protect merchant vessels and oil tankers.
